T20 World Cup: Pakistan will most likely go with THIS playing XI against India

The two team will face each other for the sixth time in T20 world cup.

The management of the Pakistan cricket team are planning to go with a combination of senior and experienced players in their upcoming warm-up match against South Africa as well as the highly-anticipated clash against India.

According to a local media outlet, citing a source: “Unless fitness issues creep up, the same combination that is playing in the warm-up matches will be seen in action against India.”

The Pakistan cricket team’s batting line-up against India will most likely comprise of Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik and Asif Ali. The two all-rounders to make the playing XI are likely to be Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim.

According to the media outlet, the Men in Green will go with three pacers against India, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hassan Ali and Haris Rauf.

Pakistan will play against South Africa in their second and last warm-up match of the T20 World Cup tomorrow in Abu Dhabi. Yesterday, Babar Azam led his men to a 7 wicket victory against West Indies.

Both Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam put up a strong show against the West Indian bowlers with both scoring 46 and 50, respectively. West Indies decided to bat first after winning the toss and they were restricted to a total of 130/7.

  • I would go for Sarfaraz instead of Asif Ali. Sarfaraz can keep wickets as well, which gives us a brilliant fielder (Rizwan) in the field and will give Rizwan some relief to prepare for batting.
Asif ali is not in form either.

  • Dubai pitches are very pathetic I saw warmup matches of both team in my view India played very well as they were playing IPL recently in Dubai Pakistan have to play like do or die otherwise in my view India is still in winning position
