The Reality behind the posters:
There is no such film as claimed across social media but there is a 1963 science fiction movie titled ‘Omicron’. “An alien takes over the body of an Earthman in order to learn about the planet so his race can take it over,” reads the plot of the movie on IMDb.
The first poster:
The poster shared by Ram Gopal Varma was actually photoshopped by writer Becky Cheatle from Virgin Media Ireland. She posted three photoshopped posters and wrote,“I Photoshopped the phrase “The Omicron Variant” into a bunch of 70s sci-fi film posters #Omicron”. The poster made by the writer is actually based on 1974 movie titled ‘Phase IV.’
The second poster:
The second poster tweeted by Christopher Miller is also a photoshopped version of a 1966 film ‘Cyborg 2087’.
Conclusion:
There is no such film The Omicron Variant which predicted the Omicron variant of the Covid-19.
