The writer often lands in hot waters due to his problematic comments.
Known for being a very controversial figure, writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has made some big revelations recently. His remarks on some of the most renowned actors in the industry are making rounds on the internet.
Khalil-ur-Rehman is a very well-known writer. He has written dramas like Sadqay Tumhare, Mere Pass Tum Ho, and more. However, the writer often lands in hot waters due to his problematic comments. Now, he has made some blasting remarks about Humayun Saeed, Nauman Ijaz, Mehwish Hayat, and Mahira Khan in a show hosted by Ahmad Ali Butt.
The writer revealed that his most recent project with Mehwish was the film London Nahi Jaunga. According to Qamar, the actress has done enough work in the industry already. He said that he believes other actresses should now be given the chance instead of the Ms. Marvel star.
Speaking further about Humayun Saeed, he said that he is ‘tired’ of writing roles for Saeed.
He also shared his point of view on Nauman Ijaz. Ijaz is known for his versatile acting skills and has made a name in the industry through his works like Darr Si Jati Hai Sila, Parizaad, and other hits.
Khalil revealed that the actor proposed a partnership in the writer’s first-ever drama named Dastak aur Darwaza. However, the Sadqay Tumhare writer auditioned him, and ‘he failed.’
‘I then selected Usman Peerzada,’ he added. Moreover, he also addressed his online batter with the superstar Mahira Khan. Mahira called him out after he publicly lashed out at Marvi Sirmed. He said that he has forgiven the Hamsafar actress but he will never forget what she said about him.
Earlier this year, Qamar had spoken up about the Raees actress’ tweet against him. He had said that he used to respect her a lot before this. ‘Magar isska ghatiapan mujhay martay dam tak yaad rahayga,’ he wrote.
