Top British Travel Magazine Lists Pakistan Among The ‘Countries People Need to Visit in 2020’
Wanderlust has described Pakistan as the world's next big travel destination.
The security situation in Pakistan has significantly improved due to the continuous efforts of security forces. This is evident from the increasing numbers of foreign tourists in the last couple of years.
The world has started to acknowledge Pakistan’s efforts towards achieving peace in the country. This is why Pakistan is listed among the top tourist destinations by top foreign travel magazines.
After Condé Nast Traveler magazine ranked Pakistan as the top holiday destination for 2020, a top British travel magazine— Wanderlust—has also included Pakistan among the top 15 places people need to visit in 2020. Pakistan has been ranked at number 7, Kenya emerging on top of the list.
Wanderlust has described Pakistan as the world’s next big travel destination.
“Pakistan should be heaving with tourists. The country has it all: the most magnificent mountains, surprisingly good and undeveloped beaches, awesome ancient history, a remarkable mix of cultures, one of the world’s greatest road trips, and warm and welcoming people,” the British magazine wrote.
According to Wanderlust magazine, things have started to look brighter following a heap of security issues in the past. The travel magazine has also mentioned the simple and cheap online visa facility for 175 countries offered by Pakistan among its reasons for visiting Pakistan.
“In past years, travelers required a No Objection Certificate to visit parts of Pakistan. Now mostly scrapped, Kashmir, Chitral & Gilgit-Baltistan, where you’ll find Hunza, one of Pakistan’s most beguiling regions, are opening up,” Wanderlust wrote.
The other countries included by Wanderlust in its list of “top 15 places you need to visit in 2020” are Kenya, Namibia, Nicaragua, Hokkaido, Japan, Patagonia, Canada, Galway, Ireland, Albania, Zimbabwe, Kyrgyzstan, Portugal, Rijeka Croatia, Lebanon, Belarus, and Ukraine.
