Twitter takes action against Disinfo Lab for spreading false propaganda against Pakistan

Twitter has removed the blue tick of DisInfo LAB for spreading false propaganda and unverified reports against Pakistan.

Recently,  DisInfo LAB published a report based on false information against Pakistan. The report said that there is a connection between US/UK-based Kashmiri activists with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.

Following this, the social media giant unverified the account by removing its blue tick.

In response, DisInfo LAB took to Twitter and showed its displeasure over the recent event and said, “Our verified badge is taken away with a slimy excuse.”

However, Twitter responded, saying, “We’ve reviewed your request to verify your Twitter account and found it was incorrectly processed. Currently, the account does not meet our criteria. If you would like to review our guidelines for being verified, please visit our Help Centre. If you think the account may be a good suitor for verification in the future, we encourage you to submit again after 30 days.”
