Two sisters killed in Gujrat for failing to get Spanish visas for their husbands
Two sisters – who were Spanish nationals – have been murdered in Gujrat by their in-laws . The gruesome murders happened in the village Nathia.
According to the media reports, the two Spanish sisters were killed by their paternal uncle for failing to get Spanish visas for their husbands.
Both the sisters – Arooj Abbas and Aneesa Abbas – were aged between 21 and 23. Their in-laws accused them of intentionally delaying the procedure for their spouses’ visas.
As per the initial investigation by the police, the two sisters weren’t entirely happy with their marriages. They had traveled to Pakistan just two days ago upon the insistence of their family.
Yesterday, the two sisters were shot dead after being severely tortured. Forensic evidence were gathered from the spot by a team in the presence of Gujrat District Police Officer Ataur Rehman, Kharian DSP and others.
According to the police, Arooj Abbas and Aneesa Abbas were murdered by their paternal uncle. He was also the father in law of one of them. Police have started to conduct raids for the arrest of the suspect. The DPO also confirmed that nobody registered a case.

The suspect is FIL of one of the girls, why did he kill the other one?
