UAE launches Asia’s biggest visa center in Karachi that will issue 200 visas each day

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched Asia’s biggest visa center in Karachi. The visa center features eleven counters and will provide consular services in accordance with the latest international standards.
Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah also paid a visit to the visa center and was briefed about its services in detail. He was informed that the center is authorized to issue work visas. He also inspected various sections of the visa center, while the UAE Consul General briefed him about the facilities provided there.
CM Sindh thanked the government of UAE for developing the ‘window of employment,’ in the form of the new visa center. He also expressed his gratitude for the chance to help the people of Balochistan and Sindh in getting jobs in UAE with the help of this facility. It is important to mention here that More than 1.6 million Pakistani expats live in the UAE, where they work in the private and public sectors. On an annual basis, they send more than $4 billion in remittances, and the launch of this visa center will further solidify bilateral ties between the two nations.
UAE’s visa center in Karachi
The visa center will offer top-notch consular services in line with the most recent international practices, and it is estimated that through this, 200 visas will be issued on a regular basis.
Commenting on the development, UAE Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al Remethi said that the center has been established to save time. He further clarified that there are 1.7 million Pakistanis in the UAE, and there is no restriction regarding visas in any district.
