Four upcoming Pakistani dramas that seem promising.

As several Pakistani dramas come to an end, the teasers and promos of many upcoming releases have started to make their way onto Pakistani TV channels. Amongst all these new entrants, four new Pakistani dramas have caught our eye because of their brilliant casts and directors. These dramas are expected to hit the screens in the coming weeks, and here is why we are looking forward to them:

Dunk

Main cast: Bilal Abbas Khan, Sana Javed, and Naumaan Ejaz

Storyline: The drama highlights the theme of sexual harassment in universities and colleges. 

The first promo of the drama series garnered mixed responses. Though, only time will unveil the true worth of the series.

Pehli Si Mohabbat

Main Cast: Maya Ali and Sheheryar Munawar

Storyline: This drama showcases an intense love story written by Faiza Iftikhar and directed by Anjum Shehzad.

In a recent interview, Maya Ali talked about the drama and said:

Pehli Si Mohabbat will not have typical saas-bahu fights and affairs in it. You will feel that you have heard or seen this story, because as evident from the title Pehli Si Muhabbat, it is a love story, and everyone has experienced their first love story. Some people find their first love, and some people keep living with their passion alive in their hearts.

Raqs-e-Bismil

Main Cast: Sarah Khan and Imran Ashraf. Hadiqa Kiani will also make her television debut in this series.

Storyline: This drama series appears to be intense and uncomfortable. The makers of the drama stated:

Raqs-e-Bismil follows the soulful story of a conservative and conformist family that adheres to strict family values. 

Imran Abbas and Urwa Hocane all set to star in the upcoming drama Amanat.

Amanat

Main Cast: Imran Abbas, Urwa Hocane, Saboor Aly, Haroon Shahid, Saba Hamid, Sheheryar Zaidi, Babar Ali, Asad Siddiqui, and Gohar Rasheed

Storyline: The multi-starrer drama is set to be a “circumstances-based love story”. The Producer of the drama Sana Shahnawaz said:

Amanat is a family drama with love, romance, and all other elements that the Pakistani audience wishes to see in our dramas.
