Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar announces filling of 100,000 job vacancies in various govt departments

According to media reports, Punjab Cheif Minister Usman Buzdar has ordered to fill 100,000 vacancies in various government departments across the province on Thursday. Punjab government spokesperson Hasaan Khawar shared the details of the matter in a press conference.

Addressing a press conference, Hasaan Khawar:

CM Usman Buzdar has approved to fill 33,000 vacant posts in the School Education Department, 2,600 vacant jobs in the Higher Education Department (HED), 3,500 CTIs posts, and 4,000 vacant posts of Prisons Departments.

The provincial government spokesperson further shared:

16,000 vacant posts would be filled in the first phase. The government will also fill 6,000 vacant posts in the Specialized Healthcare Department. Moreover, the govt will hire 12,000 police constables and 4,000 Patwaris.

It should be noted that earlier, the Punjab Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department (SH&MED) had announced to recruit 1,000 nurses in various hospitals. This recruitment of staff nurses in government hospitals of the province was also ordered by the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
