Usman Dar Receives Flak on Social Media Over His Statement Regarding Pathans
Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar, has been receiving flak on social media following his comments regarding Pathans on Mansoor Ali Khan’s show. Talking about Jamiat Ulema Islam’s march Usman Dar said, “In the end, they [the Azadi marchers] will get the same [returns] as those Pathan [vendors] who roam in streets and sell a blanket worth Rs500 for Rs50.”
Moments later, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) MPA Hina Parvez Butt interrupted him and condemned Dar’s use of the word Pathan.
“I want to condemn [the usage] of the word Pathan [randomly] like this. We are all Pakistanis,” PML N MPA said.
Despite being called out, Usman Dar continued until Mansoor Ali Khan had to ask him to apologize. Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs took his statement back after Mansoor Ali Khan asked him to.
“Alright, I will take [my words] back,” Dar said.

Here’s How Twitter Condemned Usman Dar’s Statement:
A Pathan selling a Rs. 500 carpet in Rs. 50 in a street still has more dignity and grace in his left thumb than Usman Dar has in his entire being. #ShameOnUsmanDar

Shame on your existence you moron!@PTIKPOfficial #UsmanDarAgainstPashtuns— Muhammad Atif (@masmohmand) November 5, 2019
Pashtun displacement into Punjab is a cost of Pak's strategic depth policy. These Pashtuns won't have left their homeland, if it wasnt used for strategic games & was allowed to grow to full potential. #ShameOnUsmanDar for making fun of those who are just making an honest living.

Forget about Dar, Usman, whatever. An a-hole will remain an a-hole regardless of the education, position, public responsibility and so on.
