Usman Qadir parchi celebration

The last night game between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators was full of action. The match between the two teams became a hot topic on social media after Ben Cutting and Usman Qadir’s gestures.

The Aussie all-rounder finally took his revenge against Sohail Tanvir after four long years. Ben Cutting after hitting the pacer for four sixes showed him his middle fingers.

Later in the game, Usman Qadir dismissed Umar Akmal and pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. Watch the video:

The celebration had nothing to do with Akmal, which many thought was a way of telling the batter that he is a ‘parchi’. After the match, when Qadir was asked about his celebration, he said he didn’t want to say anything except that Allah is the biggest planner.

Peshawar Zalmi’s former digital media head in a tweet said that the leg spinner raised the piece of paper to show he himself is not a ‘parchi’. “He had been under a lot of pressure and criticism of late,” he added.
