Video: Captain Safdar Spews Hate Against Ahmadis Yet Again
While speaking at a religious gathering, Captain (retd) Safdar called for the boycott of those advocating for the rights of the Ahmadis.
Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar has yet again launched an attack on the Ahmadiyya community. The son-in-law of the former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, had also made such statements in the past.
While speaking at a religious gathering, Captain (retd) Safdar called for the boycott of those advocating for the rights of the Ahmadis. The former Member National Assembly (MNA) asked the participants of the gathering not to attend the funeral of such people in Mansehra.
Moreover, slogans against the Ahmadiyya community were also raised during the gathering.

Not the first time:
Its not the first time that Safdar Awan has spoken out against Ahmadis. In 2017, he called the Ahmadiyya community a threat to the country, its Constitution and ideology.
Not just that, he also called for a ban on hiring Ahmadis in the armed forces and other important institutions of Pakistan. Furthermore, Safdar Awan had also slammed the decision to rename Quaid-i-Azam University’s physics centre after Professor Dr Abdus Salam, Pakistan’s first Nobel laureate.
Following his speech, he faced massive backlash on social media. The then Prime Minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, had distanced himself and his party, the PML-N, from Safdar’s statement.
