Video: Feroze Khan Reveals Why He Couldn’t Play ‘Danish’ in Mere Paas Tum Ho
The success of the most hit drama of recent times, Mere Paas Tum Ho, must have left many celebrities wishing to have worked in it.
The character of Danish, played by Humayun Saeed, received lots of love from the drama enthusiasts. But did you know, This character was first offered to Adeel Hussain and then Feroze Khan before Humayun Saeed was finalized for the role.
Well, that’s true.
During his conversation with Waseem Badami on his show, Har Lamha Purjosh, Feroze Khan revealed that he was offered this role. Explaining why he was not included in the project, the Khaani star revealed that “I lost the show because I asked to be paid.”
“I am not sure to what extent it suited Humayun Saeed to cast me in his production – that angle I am not aware of, but I do think Khalil sahib didn’t like the idea of an actor demanding money for performing on a script written by him.”
Waseem Badami was quick to quiz him whether other actors work for free for Khalil ur Rehman Qamar. The actor said that he is unaware of that.
Furthermore, Feroze Khan also gave a message to KKQ as demanded by the segment of Har Lamha Purjosh.
“Apne aap se niklein,” he advised KKQ.
“I am not a big fan of Khalil sahib since he has a lot of ego and pride in him, and then he has also said some awful things about my mentors, besides making statements like ‘I have turned kings into beggars’ which I personally think don’t suit him,” Feroze Khan added.
