Video: Peshawar Zalmi’s Haider Ali Might Be the Next Big Thing in Pakistan Cricket

Peshawar Zalmi’s right handed batsman, Haider Ali, has surely impressed many cricket enthusiasts with his attacking batting.

The 19-years-old wide-range of short selection has made him a fan’s favorite. He announced himself on cricketing stage by hitting an impressive 47 runs from 27 deliveries against the experienced  bowling line-up  of Multan Sultans.

Haider Ali’s little cameo of 34 runs from 12 deliveries in Zalmi’s recent game Lahore Qalandars saw his team get to big total of 132 runs in just 16 overs. Former Wicket Keeper batsman, Rashid Latif, is also among the people whom Haider Ali has managed to impress.

Following his innings against the Qalandars, Rashid Latif asked if he could be the next Babar Azam.y

Haider has so far played 7 first class, 5 list A and 10 T20Is. If given the right amount of opportunity and attention, the 19-years-old could prove to be very handy for Pakistan Cricket in the future.
