Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has also expressed his admiration on behalf of the government.
Lahore Police honored the doctors and paramedics at Mayo Hospital to acknowledge their services in the fight against the COCID-19 outbreak.
The doctors continue to fight at the frontline against a deadly virus which has impacted thousands across the world. They are more exposed to the virus due to a shortage of protective gear, and of masks due to hoarding and panic buying of people.
Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has also expressed his admiration on behalf of the government to nurses, doctors, and paramedics who are fighting against the virus every day.
He said that the government of Punjab will pay one additional salary to the staff.
Buzdar said that doctors have proved themselves as the benefactors of the country by serving the sick day in and day out.
