[VIDEO] Batsman Shan Masood shares the names of team’s ‘best pranksters’, sledger
Shan is spilling some inside secrets!
Pakistani batsman Shan Masood recently appeared as a guest at Omer Qadri’s YouTube show and shared some interesting facts about himself and the national cricket team.
The left-handed batsman revealed that his all-time favorite superhero character from fiction movies is ‘Batman’ from DC Comics.
“I mean the most ideal superpower would be looking into the future and changing it, but I think my Batman has always been my favorite superhero. So, I would want to be a normal guy without any superpower but can still make a difference,” said Masood.
Masood also spoke about his teammates and shared that opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq and wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed are the two funniest sledgers in the team green.
Masood said that Imam, in particular, is “very funny.”
“There are quite a lot of funny guys because when you talk about sledging, you would want to have someone who is funny,” he said.
“Sarfaraz is funny. Imamul Haq is…very funny.”
Speaking of fast-bowlers, Masood said that Mohammad Amir is very competitive. He said that Amir can be intense, but he also knows how to crack a joke.
”He is somebody who will always be on top of the opposition”.
Multan Sultans’ captain shared that Imamul Haq is the biggest prankster in the national team.
“I think he can come up with his own book of pranks,” Masood commented.
The 30-year-old batsman has played 20 Test matches for Pakistan, scoring 1189 runs at an average of 31.3. He has only been featured in five one-day internationals (ODIs) for Team Green.
