[Video] British High Commissioner to Pakistan expresses love for Pakistani foods, cities in Urdu

Pakistani food is considered as one of the most famous foods around the world. Over the decades, Pakistani food has distinguished itself in taste, aroma, and presentation.
On Tuesday, the British High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr. Christian Turner spoke in Urdu to express his love for Pakistani cities and food.
While speaking to Geo News anchor, Hamid Mir, the UK high commissioner made some fascinating revelations in Urdu.
Pakistan boht khoobsurat hai
The Commissioner said, “Well, I should say, first of all, Pakistan boht khoobsurat hai (Pakistan is very beautiful),” “Meri Urdu kharab hai, thodi jaanta hun.” (My Urdu is bad, I know a little of it).”
While responding to a question regarding when Pakistan would be able to host English cricketers on its home soil, the Commissioner said, “Ahista ahista (slowly, slowly).
Lahore Lahore hai
The Commissioner agreed with the old saying “Lahore Lahore Hai (Lahore is Lahore)”. Turner further said that when he visited the city all he did was eat.
Turner is also fond of Karachi’s Biryani and said that it was “Boht mazedaar (very delicious)”.
