A viral disease three times more lethal than COVID-19 exists in Pakistan

According to health experts, a viral three times more lethal than the current global pandemic exists in Pakistan: Hepatitis.
Research indicates that currently, 15 million Pakistani residents are infected with Hepatitis B and C. These 15 million people are unaware of this, instead of taking precautionary measures, they continue to transmit the virus to others.
Dr. Lubna Kamani, a senior consultant gastroenterologist, states:
Hepatitis B and C are several times more lethal viral diseases than the coronavirus infection. The Covid-19 is causing far fewer casualties than viral Hepatitis, resulting in around 300 to 325 deaths daily in Pakistan.
The World Health Organization raises the concern by estimating five to ten million confirmed Hepatitis B and C patients in Pakistan. Pertaining to this, Dr. Lubna Kamani said:
Due to the lack of prevention, testing, treatment resources, inadequately screened blood transfusion, improperly sterilized invasive medical devices and unsafe injections, thousands of new Hepatitis patients surface every year.
The experts emphasize the timely treatment of Hepatitis. According to Dr. Lubna Kamani, the first step towards treatment is to get acquainted with the disease by enrolling in awareness programs.
Yesterday, on World Hepatitis Day, Dr. Lubna Kamani said:
On World Hepatitis Day, we call on the people and authorities in Pakistan to take action against Hepatitis and raise awareness about the disease to aware the unaware and find the missing millions of contracted patients.
