WATCH: 7-year-old Pakistani girl breaks Indian world record in martial arts!
Her achievement signifies a huge step forward for Pakistan.
7-year-old Fatima Naseem has made Pakistan proud by setting the new Guinness World Record for ‘most full contact elbow strikes in one minute using alternate elbows’. Previously the Guinness World Record was held by Shruti S, an Indian martial artist who made 211 elbow strikes in one minute in 2018. Fatima Naseem broke Shruti S’s record with a whopping 242 elbow strikes.

Fatima’s father, Muhammad Rashid, is also a martial art athlete. He has procured over 60 world records, and now Fatima is set to follow in her father’s footsteps.
The little Pakistani martial artist started participating in many competitions to showcase her skills after her training ended. Now that young Fatima is a Guinness World Record holder, her efforts have finally borne fruit.
It should be noted that, with the addition of Fatima’s achievement, the Pakistan Academy of Martial Arts now has a total of 75 medals under its banner.
Talking about her future aim, the young athlete shared:
I want to win an international gold medal for Pakistan and raise my country’s flag even higher.
Fatima’s dedication and accolade will most likely inspire other young girls to come forward and participate in competitions. Her achievement signifies a huge step forward for Pakistan.
