Former mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov has a huge fan following across the globe.
Khabib Nurmagomedov isn’t just a great fighter but a dedicated muslim as well, which is why a huge chunk of his fans are muslims.
The legendary MMA fighter has yet again won the hearts of million of Pakistanis, after he sent well wishes to Maulana Tariq Jamil. The video shared from MTJ Foundation Canada’s social media account shows the former MMA fighter with the followers of the renowned religious scholar.
“Assalamualikum, maulana sahab, I hope you are doing well. Khabib wants to say salam to you,” one of the followers of MTJ’s says.
The video then shows Khabib Nurmagomedov sending greetings to Maulana Tariq Jamil. “Assalamualikum sheikh Tariq. How are you? How is everything, brother? I hope everything is good with you, family,” Khabib said.

In the video, he also asks the prominent Pakistani religious scholar to say his salam to all the “Pakistani brothers.”
In 2020, Nurmagomedov shocked the world when he announced his retirement from the sport. “Today I want to say this is my last fight. No way am I coming here without my father. When UFC comes to me about Justin I spoke with my mother for three days. She didn’t want me to fight without father and I said this is my last fight – and I have given her my word,” he had said while announcing his retirement.
