The pacer is proud to become the first ever international cricketer from Larkana.
Fast bowler, Shahnawaz Dahani, will be making his T20 debut against Bangladesh today at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made the announcement on its social media.
The PCB shared a video of the fast bowler talking to his mother on a video call. Following the video call, Shahnawaz Dahani said that he cannot express how happy he is about his debut. He added that he couldn’t sleep the whole night thinking about his debut.
Regarding the conversation with his mother, the right-arm-fast bowler said that she was very happy to know about his debut. “Every cricketer waits to play for his national team and perform well to help win matches,” he said.
Dahani added: “I always wished to make my debut in front of my family but unfortunately it can’t happen as my family isn’t here with me in Bangladesh.”

The pacer is proud to become the first ever international cricketer from Larkana. He also recalled how warmly he was welcomed back home following his splendid performance in the Pakistan Super League. Shahnawaz Dahani revealed that former New Zealand fast bowler, Shane Bond, was his role model.
The 23 year old made a great impact after his debut in the PSL for Multan Sultans. Ever since then, he has been named in the Pakistan cricket team’s squad several times but today is the lucky day he will be wearing the Pakistan Cricket team’s kit for the first time.
