Aussie captain Pat Cummins is getting tons of praise on social media after a video of his gesture for Usman Khawaja during the Ashes trophy celebration went viral. The Australian cricket team defeated England in the final test of Ashes to win the series 4-0.
During the trophy celebration, Usman Khawaja had to step aside due to the champagne spraying, which is a common practice in sports. In the past, we have also seen other Muslim cricketers, particularly Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid, doing the same.
Pat Cummins has won the hearts of millions of cricket fans, when he asked his teammates to stop the champagne spraying and asked Usman Khawaja to join the team for a group photo. The video has been going viral across the internet and the Australian captain is getting widespread praise.
