Watch: Whom did Sharif family contact abroad for NRO?

Prime Minister Imran Khan claimed that Sharif family contacted head for an Arab state for help amid corruption cases. The premier made the startling claim in a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) parliamentary party in Islamabad.
PM said that Sharif family is still making efforts to secure relief in corruption scandals, and now they have started to use their links abroad for the matter. Keeping the name anonymous, PM said that Sharifs contacted the head of an Arab state in a bid to secure NRO. However, the head responded that it is an internal matter of Pakistan and he wishes to stay out of it.
The sources further added that despite the attempts, PM Imran Khan is stern on his decision. During the meeting, he once again clarified his stance that no NRO will be given to anyone no matter who contacts him.
”No NRO would be given to these looters no matter who contacts me”.
The premier further added that the opposition parties won’t get NRO whether they arrange All Parties Conference (APC) or run any movement to pressurize the government. He directed all the members to ensure their presence in the budget sessions.
They discussed to devise a plan for the approval of the budget for the fiscal year 2019-2020 and how to handle the anti-government movement being launched by the opposition in the meeting.
