To acknowledge Prime Minister Imran Khan’s successful strategies against Covid-19, the World Economic Forum has announced to celebrate ‘Pakistan Strategy Day’ today.
According to details, the WEF has decided to celebrate Pakistan’s successful Covid-19 response after it became the country least affected by the pandemic in terms of economy.
Pakistan suffered the least economic setback during the first wave of COVID-19 by observing smart lockdowns and other successful policies.
To celebrate the achievement, the WEF will hold daylong events today (25th of November). The Prime Minister will be the chief guest at the event.
According to details, all big investors, industrialists, and businessmen worldwide will also attend the event.
The President of the World Economic Forum, Borge Brende, would conduct a live interview with Imran Khan where the PM will brief on his strategies to curb the pandemic.
Khan will also shed light on PKR 12 billion corona relief package, including incentives for the construction industry.
Some Pakistani ministers have also been invited to attend separate sessions via video link on the occasion.
The Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Hammad Azhar, will discuss relief in the industrial package. The Energy Minister, Omar Ayub, will address the alternative energy policy issues, and Sania Nishtar will speak on the ‘Ehsas Emergency Cash’ Program.
