‘Welcome to Naya Pakistan again’: Celebrities celebrate PTI victory in Punjab by-polls
Former PM Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf proved everyone wrong last night when his party secured a landslide victory in the Punjab by-polls. According to the unofficial results, PTI has won 15 out of 20 seats.
Now, after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Imran Khan’s party will most likely form government in Punjab again. After the results started pouring in, PTI supporters took to their streets and social media to celebrate the victory.
Pakistani showbiz celebrities also took to their social media handles to celebrate and congratulate their followers. Syed Jibran congratulated PTI “for proving the clichéd law of the land wrong and winning the by-election.”
Shagufta Ejaz shared a picture of Imran Khan on her Instagram story.
“Alhamdulilah,” wrote Jannat Mirza.
Samina Peerzada also congratulated the PTI supporters
