‘Why weren’t you outraged when his wife was targeted?,’ Mariyam Nafees on ‘selective’ criticism against Imran Khan

Actress Mariyam Nafees has shared her opinion on the ongoing criticism of former Prime Minister Imran Khan after his derogatory remarks against Maryam Nawaz.
Recently, Imran Khan has been under fire for his statement about the PML-N leader. Many people, who were supporting him, have also called him out. Mariyam Nafees, on the other hand, tweeted about the matter. She said she does not support the use of foul language, but the criticism against the PTI leader is ‘selective.’ She went on to say that this is because their members have also been made a target of foul language and it was overlooked by people.
”Why weren’t you outraged when his wife, PTI’s female MNAs, Murad Saeed’s sisters, and more women were targeted? Repeatedly?” she questioned.

PM Shehbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah, Asif Zardari, Hamza Shahbaz, and others condemned his remarks regarding Maryam Nawaz during a rally in Multan. In his address, Imran Khan said that someone sent him a video of Maryam Nawaz.
”She took my name with so much passion. I want to tell her to be careful, your husband might get angry,” he mocked.
