Will Muhammad Rizwan & Shoaib Malik play the semi final?
The Pakistan cricket board has shared an update regarding the two cricketers.
Pakistan’s inform batters, Shoaib Malik and Muhammad Rizwan, missed the team’s training yesterday due to a mild flu. The Pakistan cricket team will face Australia in the second semi final of the ICC T20 world cup tonight.
According to reports, the two complained of “light flu and low fever” on Wednesday morning and were advised to delay their training. Later, they were asked to miss the training session.
The team management doesn’t seem much concerned and is hopeful that they will be available for the selection. The Pakistan Cricket Board in an update said that both players are feeling better this morning. The PCB’s medical panel will review the situation regarding both players in the afternoon.

Both Malik and Rizwan have contributed a lot to the team’s unbeaten run in the tournament so far. In case, Pakistan lose both of them for the semi final, it will indeed by a huge blow for them.
Muhammad Rizwan is third on the list of players who have scored most runs this tournament. On the other hand, Malik also played a vital role in the victories against New Zealand and Afghanistan.
Sarfaraz Ahmed and Haider Ali are the two most likely replacements if Rizwan and Malik don’t get the medical green light.
Update: The Pakistan Cricket Board’s medical panel have declared both the cricketers fit. The two will be seen in action against Australia.
