Former England captain Nasser Hussain has responded to the rumours of him commentating during the upcoming edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL). It is pertinent to mention that for the last few days rumours of Nasser Hussain joining the PSL have been afloat.
The former cricket great is one of the top commentators and an avid fan of Pakistan cricket. “Pakistan cricket at its best,” is among his many famous lines about the Men in Green.
Unfortunately, Nasser Hussain will not be part of the Pakistan Super League, he has confirmed. “Rumours that I am commentating on PSL7 are not true as I will most likely be working on the Women’s World Cup,” he said.
However, the 53-year-old did express his interest in being part of the Pakistan Super League at some point in the future. “However I hope to commentate on the Pakistan Super League at some point in the future,” he added.
The PSL 7 will be starting on January 27th. The PCB has confirmed that there will not be an opening ceremony due to coronavirus. However, the fans will be entertained ahead of the tournament with the official anthem. Atif Aslam and Aima Baig will be singing the PSL anthem this season.
