‘Won’t make any prediction before Indo-Pak World Cup clash’: Harbhajan Singh learns his lesson
It seems Harbhajan Singh has finally learnt his lesson following India’s crushing defeat against Pakistan at the last T20 World Cup.
The former Indian spinner, along with other former Indian cricketers, always make tall claims before their clash against Pakistan. However, the last time the two teams played, Pakistan changed history.
Now, the two teams will once again lock horns against each other at the upcoming T20 World Cup later this year. The two arch rivals will face each other on October 23rd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Unlike the previous occasions, Harbhajan Singh has decided against making any prediction about, arguably, the biggest game in cricket world.
“We have another T20 World Cup and this year, I won’t be giving any statement and won’t talk over who will win [between Pakistan and India],” he told to Shoaib Akhtar in a conversation on an Indian sports website.
He added that last time things didn’t end well for India due to being overconfident. It should be recalled that before the last T20 World Cup clash, the former cricketer had advised Pakistan cricket team to give a walkover to India as they always lose in World Cup matches.
