A controversial YouTuber from Canada has confessed about faking his girlfriend’s death in a road accident.

Jason Ethier, better known as ImJayStation on YouTube, posted a video on his YouTube Channel and claimed a drunk driver had killed his girlfriend, Alexia Marano.

A few days later, Ethier posted a video claiming it was a video of Alexia’s condolences. In another video, he tried to contact Alexa’s spirit via the Ouija board.

However, in a video, the Canadian star has admitted that Alexia is alive and well, but has now ended her relationship with him.

Ethier said, “I would like to start with apologies to Alexia and her family for putting them through hard times.”

The YouTuber further said, “I did not mean to put them through any emotional trauma involving Alexia. I expected all of this to stay on YouTube but it didn’t.”

Gain more Subscribers

Jason Ethier then explained that the purpose of the video was to get more subscribers.

Ethier further said, “My intention was to fake Alexia’s death and then tell everyone on YouTube that this was done to gain subscribers. After which we would resurrect her and gain more followers.”

Jason Ether started his YouTube channel in 2016 and currently has 54 million followers. The channel has found prominence in recent years due to his videos in which he tries to connect with the spirits of celebrities of the past.

After the incident, Alexa Marano has deleted her YouTube channel.
