The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected plea for pre-arrest bail for Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur in the fake bank accounts case. The IHC bench which comprised of Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Moshin Akhtar Kayani heard the plea seeking an extension in their interim bail for Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur in fake bank accounts case.
Concluding the decision and issuing the orders, the high court has given permission to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to carry out arrests. The two PPP leaders now have the option of appealing the decision in the Supreme Court.
The case concerning the two leaders relates to transactions of hundreds of millions of rupees to their private companies, allegedly carried out via fake bank accounts. Zardari left the court before the verdict was announced. He will now be approaching the Supreme Court. Previously, the PPP co-chairman got an extension in his pre-arrest bail five times and was on bail for two months and 12 days.

As per the media sources, the NAB officials had already reached Parliament House to update the National Assembly Speaker of Asif Ali Zardari’s arrest warrants. The team has already been formed to carry out the arrest of PPP key leadership and it is likely to happen today.
While #WestandwithAsifAliZardari remained a top trend on Twitter, on the contrary, the decision was welcomed by many as well.
I request NAB that if Asif Zardari wants to go to the washroom make sure there is someone close by. Read what he allegedly did while in custody for murder of Justice Nizam Ahmed & his son.

Public want to see no more topi dramas and justice must prevail, no matter who they are. Send Asif Zardari to jail for his fake account cases, he doesn't deserve a bail. pic.twitter.com/Y9yEE278JT

Asif Zardari was arrested before, he spent a long time in jail. That man isn't shy of jail or any such treatments. Did anyone think he would come out and be the president one day?
He will bounce back.
The game is larger than we think it is.
