Zero-emission electric vehicles to be integrated in Pakistan’s transport system soon

The launch date of the respective transport project is said to be February 2020.

ISLAMABAD: New electric buses would now be integrated into the Pakistani transport system in order to urbanize it. Zero-emission electric vehicles would be provided by Chinese automobile companies to integrate with the transport system in the beginning.

A Chinese multinational company having various engagements in the world has vowed to help Pakistan economically grow under the campaign of CPEC, and it has now entered the country. The transport project would be a joint venture with Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Company. Under this project, the culture of electric buses would finally come to Pakistan.

The launch date of the respective transport project is said to be February 2020. Apart from that, it has been reported that a trial run for these electric buses would be executed by MVM-Yutong. The bigger picture of the project states about a new era in the world of transport.

It comes with a plan to make the transport system of the country the most sustainable in the world. It is something that will not just make domestic traveling convenient; it will also benefit the country’s climate, making it greener and healthier.
